Educational Programming 2009

The Crow Collection of Asian Art is dedicated to presenting the cultures and arts of China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia. Located in the heart of the Arts District in downtown Dallas, the museum offers an inspiring setting for learning and art activities. Its innovative programs and crafts can bring the arts of Asia to school classrooms. The Crow Collection offers free guided tours and bus subsidies for school visits.

Museums visits and guided tours are offered during museum hours (Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM).

Evening for Educators

Free teacher workshops are available select Thursday evenings from 6:00–8:00 PM. Please consult the calendar of events for dates.

Museum Visits, Grade 1-12

One hour docent-guided museum tours are presented on the following topics:

  • Animals in Asian Art: Elementary
  • Nature in Asian Art: Elementary
  • The Art and Art of Writing in Asia (Elementary & Secondary)
  • A general tour of the museum is also available
