Educational Programming 2008

The Crow Collection welcomes you and your students on a journey to the wonders and arts of Asia. Located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, The Crow Collection of Asian Art is dedicated to presenting the arts and cultures of China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia. The museum offers a serene setting for quiet reflection and learning which, through its innovative educational programs, can bring the arts of the Far East to your classrooms.

Museums visits and guided tours are offered during museum hours (Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday until 9 p.m.).

Evening for Educators

FREE teacher workshops are available Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00p.m. Please consult the calendar of events for dates.

Museum Visits, Grade 1-12

One hour docent-guided museum tours are presented on the following topics:

  • Animals in Asian Art: Elementary
  • Nature in Asian Art: Elementary
  • The Art and Art of Writing in Asia (Elementary & Secondary)
  • A general tour of the museum is also available
